Only Microsoft? How about AppleWorks or iWorks? How about Adobe? Or Ability Office? Or Evermore Integrated Office? Or ThinkFree office? Or Scribus? And, I'm sorry, did you say "LOTUS"? As in Lotus 123, Lotus SmartSuite? Lotus has been all-but abandoned by IBM. The SmartSuite hasn't been maintained since before OOo began (that's before 2000). In fact, the "latest" version of Lotus SmartSuite (which is 9.8) - is called the "MILLENIUM EDITION". I think the major news would be that they are resurrecting a dead program, more than what filters they include. It's amazing that you call a 5-year-old corpse of an office suite a "major office software suite"! -Chad Smith
