Hi Paul,

try tu use the key "F2" when you are on the cell that you would like to update!

Interesting. I use Excel alot of the time (companies I work for
mandate it) and I've never come across anything like this.

If you think that it is something that is worth while, raise an
enhancement request and go from there.  Alternatively there could be
someone willing to write a macro which will do something similar.
