Thanks for the response on this tread. I appreciate your simplistic
way of communicating what information you need from me.
I have received many (thanks) comments from [email protected]
so far I have been unable to contact the consultants for Oregon
and Washington...
To answer your current questions:
a. we use Open Office 1.1.3
b. using "export as pdf" under "File" creates a large file (1.1 meg) apears
to be a two page document with a print image of 1/2" x 8" on portrait
setting. Not working.
c. We print black and white, multi page emails and
proof images print fine saved as jpeg and pdf - like with our adv. saved
as .pdf for the print house... I only have trouble with printing OO docs.
I have not been able to export from OO yet successfully, but that
doesn't bother me as much as not being able to print reports from
the OO spreadsheets.
d. HP LaserJet 1012.
e. print range... I can go in and define a print range by dragging
my cursur from A1 to M702. the entire 10 months of data entry for
banking transactions but still I can only preview page one and it
only prints page one. This document was created to watch check
numbers, sorted by check number and should print out as a 20 page
document (hard copy) as a report (portrait) My viewer for pdf is
Gnome Ghostview 2.8.0 -it works with other pdf's.
