Hello! My problem is with OpenOffice Spreadsheet I have a problem when applying a change to a range of cells selected with a filter. The cells between them are changed too - this is my problem I have tried with both Open Office ver 1.1.4 and 2
I have uploaded the file here: http://www.geocities.com/gjol2/2005-10-29-filters.xls What I need: to set value 5 to column 3 (Qty) only for those cells that have the value Scanner at 2nd column (Object) This is how I proceed: I open the file, and I select Scanner at column 2 Now I see only the rows 2,7,8,12 Then I set the value 5 at 3rd column: I enter value 5 at cell C2 Copy (CTRL+C), then I select Cells from C7 to C12 and Paste (CTRL+V) Now all seems to be ok, (all Scanners have value 5) but: when I select "all" at column 2, I see that also at rows 9,10,11 (Printers) have the value 5 So the Paste function does not work for groups of cells that are in a filter selection thanks, Jol __________________________________ Yahoo!
