I have compiled OOo 2 on my Gentoo laptop and I am having problems
opening Excel files. Quite simply, the files open withour error but all
numeric values are zero. Clicking on a cell reveals a scientific
notation style number such as "1.48539705365595E-313" in all numeric
value cells. Formula cells appear intact (but of course all of their
calculations are on zero values).
The same files worked perfectly on OOo 1.1.5 compiled on the same laptop
and on my Windows box (both OOo versions). Data values are correctly
maintained wehn opening Calc or OpenDocument files.
Any suggestions?
