You will have to download and reinstall Open Office.org (or ask your support folks at the school to help you). The site seems to have a combination of Word files, PowerPoint Files and PDFs. I had no problem with a couple of the Word files and I am sure the PDF's would open with no problems -- although you will need Acrobat Reader. If school's IT staff are encouraging you (which is great) I am sure they would willing to spend a little time showing you how to use the website.
