I am using an HP OfficeJet 7210 over an Ethernet connection with no
difficulties.
Use Insert -> Picture -> Scan -> Request. That should bring up the HP
Director scanning utility.
(For some reason Insert -> Picture -> Scan -> Select Source doesn't do
anything. Is that because I have only the one scanner or is it a bug?)
