Couple things come to mind: 1. How much memory is available? 2. Have you tried to defrag after install?

I have tried using XP Home's restore points to take the system back to an earlier point (though I've only had the computer a month or so), but that doesn't seem to help. I followed the suggestion of one respondent from the list to uninstall the program, including the directories (I used add / remove programs, and deleted the directory in "program files" using explorer), and then reinstalling, but that didn't help either. I've also tried using msconfig to boot the computer using "normal" startup settings (rather than the "selected" startup). Again, no success. At this point, I'm not sure what to do, or exactly how to troubleshoot the problem.
