Hi Frank,

Is UK the country code, or GB ? In the example given in
dictionary.lst GB is used.
Isn't the name for the thesaurus file th_en_US_v2 ? I downloaded the
thesaurus some days ago, with DicOOo, and I got this new name.
A good answer always creates a new question ...
I'm somewhat puzzled by the question.
I always though Great Britain and United Kingdom mean actually the
very same. Thus the question did surprise me a lot.
They are not exactly the same thing:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Isles_%28terminology%29
- Great Britain (as a geographical term) = the largest island
Actually, "Great Britain" is so called to distinguish it from "Lesser
Britain", i.e., Brittany, in France, which was settled after the fall of
Rome by British refugees fleeing the Saxon invaders, and where the
people still speak Breton, a language related to Welsh.
- Great Britain (as a political entity) = England + Wales + Scotland
- The United Kingdom (a sovereign state) = England + Wales + Scotland +
Northern Ireland
...which is further confused by the fact that the traditional adjective
for the United Kingdom is "British".

which is the true Gospel, for the poor's sake."
