This thread seems to refuse to die. OK, can we stop complaining about "religious zealots" that want to censor things. I rarely meet someone that does not want to censor something. As an example, shall I show your four year old daughter people being tortured and mutilated? The question is typically where do you draw the line? I would find it a bit disturbing if I found out that my child's elementary school library had subscriptions to hard core pornographic videos and magazines.

As a matter of course, movies are rated, at least in the US, and below a certain age, you are not allowed to see certain things. I would again be rather unhappy if I found out that cunnilingus was on my child's vocabulary words. Someone will always determine what is, and is not, acceptible for certain people in certain places at certain times. A very good friend of mine is fond of saying "Moderation in all things, especially moderation". There is a time and a place for most things. There is a time and place for my children to learn these words, and a time and place for them not to.

You could go even further, Verner. What PEOPLE are going to be next removed?
In one large and afraid country on the American continent they are doing it
already, but at least, so far, they still let them live. Well, barely. I
never dreamt it would go that far again.

The word f**k and the expression "f**k up" are in the dictionary and
thesaurus. Is it possible to remove these? I have tried, but I have
been unsuccessful. I would like to use these at my school, but with
these words in the dictionary, I don't think that will be possible.

Aren't there some mornings you wish you'd stayed in bed :-( .

In Europe, we can still smell the fumes from the piles of burning books of
the
thirties. We learned a lot. So editing the dict and thrs files of OO is in
my
opinion a bit the same. What words are the next in line to be removed?
