Backup's are stored commonly here: C:\Documents and Settings\<login_name>\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\backup
You can of course elect to have a different location for backup's. If there is a crash, the recovery file will normally be found here, but the crash data is stored (temporarily) here : C:\Documents and Settings\<login_name>\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\crashdata It doesn't seem possible to alter the location of recovery files.
