In my mail merge program I have a field named Address2 that I hide if it
is blank. The condition I use is "not (Address2)" without the
quotes. It works fine for me.
Does it hide the paragraph mark as well? That's the problem I have run
into: the paragraph mark remains if I use a hidden text field, but if I
use a hidden paragraph field, the results are always hidden even when
there is content in the Address2 field.

In my case, the Hidden Paragraph function always collapses the line,
whether there is text there or not. In other words, the condition not
(Address2) doesn't work to reveal the line when there is data in the
field Address2. Nothing I try seems to work.
