Watch out with Thunderbird. It's a nice mail program, but mine just resent about a hundred ancient messages that it found in my Eudora "sent" mailbox. If you get a message, "Do you want to send messages in Outgoing mailbox?" (Or something along those lines) be sure you know what it's talking about before you click yes. I've just been heartily embarrassed.

On the other hand, I use Eudora partly because it lets me choose a folder for incoming attachments, and so does Thunderbird, so thumbs-up for that.
