Go to 'tools > options > language settings' and check to make sure
that the language that you have set 'for all documents' has an icon on
the left of it. If it does, that means that you have the appropriate
dictionary installed. If it does, then check the 'autocorrect' box
(below).

If it doesn't (and I'm guessing that this is your problem since
English (Canada) is not installed by default) you need to install the
appropriate dictionary. To do this follow the instructions after
selecting "file > wizards > install new dictionaries"...

Once installed, check to make sure that the drop down box at the top
of the dialog presented after selecting 'tools > autocorrect' shows
the language of the dictionary that you want to use and you should be
right on track...

I know it seems  a little fiddly to start with but once sorted its all
good... If it doesn't work, reply to the list with specifics.

What does 'not work' mean? What platform are you on?
