I am new to openoffice and really like what I see so far.
I have run into :
1. When I open a Calc file - edit that file - and then save that file it takes
a long time like 30 to 40 seconds
to save it. A progress bar opens at the bottom saying 'save document'
then increments little boxes across the
bar until it is finished.
Are there some settings I can look at? The spread sheet is only 37 to 200
lines, only one or two pages.
It takes that long for all the files I open, edit , and then save.
These files were exported from Windows 97 office pro and imported into
openoffice 2.0.
I am running Windows 2K. 312 meg. 533 mhz. 40gb hard dive 34gb free.
