Hi.
I'm a brand new (potential) user and cannot open MS Office
2000 database files (*.mdb). Is this possible?
At first I had the *.mdb file password protected (so that
it couldn't be opened without the password). I removed this protectio and
still couldn't open it in Open Office (OO)!
Even if I can open this file, it is important for me to
stop others from opening it via password. Can I set this up in
OO?
On another more general matter - I currently synchronise
my MS Office files with my PDA (d'bases, s'sheets & docs). Will I be
able to save all files in MS Office format so that this synchronisation remains
as is?
If the answer is no to any of the above, I shall have to
uninstall OO, which would be a shame as I'm pretty fed up with MS and it's often
buggy behaviour!
Thanks for your help (hopefully)
PS I unistalled MS Office and've just discovered the
Spell Checker in this Outlook Express is now not functional!! Ho
Hum!
