Why should anyone help you when you abuse them? The changes to openoffice.org are meant to make it more microsoft office like. Should you swap to microsoft office you will find it closer in looks to OO.o 2 than OO.o 1. Microsoft office does not contain the "main" toolbar either. - Solution 1 Having said that the latest version of OO.o 1 (1.1.5) is still available for download because you feel more comfortable with it. http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.5/index.html The problem with this solution is manifold. 1. It will not be supported in the future. 2. The database functionality is less. 3. It will not allow you to write to the new Open Document Format (though it will read it). 4. Microsoft Office compatibility is reduced. 5. There are less functions overall. - Solution 2 Be a little more flexible in your approach to life. On the whole OO.o 2 is a great improvement over 1. Tell us which functions you cannot find that were on the main toolbar and we will tell you where they are now. But ask nicely, not like a whinging Pom. -- LOKI --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
