One of the advantages of 1.1.5 is that it is smaller ideal if you have a
system with limited resources (not me). It would be good to keep this
avaialble for just such people . Yes 2.0 is much better and I guess
2.0.1 is better still, which I will also download.

- Solution 1
Having said that the latest version of OO.o 1 (1.1.5) is still available
for download because you feel more comfortable with it.
http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.5/index.html
The problem with this solution is manifold.
1. It will not be supported in the future.
2. The database functionality is less.
3. It will not allow you to write to the new Open Document Format
(though it will read it).
4. Microsoft Office compatibility is reduced.
5. There are less functions overall.
- Solution 2
Be a little more flexible in your approach to life. On the whole OO.o 2
is a great improvement over 1. Tell us which functions you cannot find
that were on the main toolbar and we will tell you where they are now.
But ask nicely, not like a whinging Pom.
