Make your changes to font, indent (and just about everything else) by editing the appropriate style, probably Default in this case. Just right click on any space or word that isn't misspelled and choose "Edit Paragraph Style" from the context menu. You can also access styles through the Styles and Formatting Window (F11 or Menubar>Format>Styles and Formatting).
