Hi, Andy, (replying to you, because I think that it is still worthy, otherwise I am usually silent on the subject -- see below for reasons), there is *a lot* of stuff about top-posting v. bottom-posting and subject is religious issue <http://www.catb.org/~esr/jargon/html/R/religious-issues.html> well-tested in so many flamewars that it is not even funny. You can find more about on Wikipedia (like about anything else :-)) <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-posting> and there are so many webpages dealing with this that it is actually pretty sad (see links in the bottom of the Wikipedia page; <http://www.palmyanoff.com/trimpost.htm> seems to be pretty comprehensive, there is even Wiki for this <http://ursine.ca/Top_Posting>). The only similarly flammable issue is reply-to header in emails and to that Rick Moen (unfortunately, his website is down momentarily, but the link is <http://uncle-enzo.linuxmafia.com/~rick/faq/index.php?page=netiquette>) replied the answer which I think should be default answer to all religious questions (paraphrasing): ``This issue was flamed over to the dust; please, read FAQs on this issue and *if you have something to add to it* which was not discussed before (which is highly improbable) then enlighten us.''
