Since you are not subscribed, I'm doing a reply all. Excel is an M$ product, and as such is not available from any OOo site. However, OpenOffice does have a spreadsheet, calc I think its called, that I've been told can open and work with Excel files, and can either resave them in the Excel format, or in the native format such as the state of Mass. is in the process of changing to. As for downloading openoffice, its free to all but the whole package for most platforms is required, you cannot download just the calc portion so the download approaches or exceeds 100MB in size depending on the platform. If you are on a dialup, it might make more sense to buy the cd, its only a nominal cost item. -- Cheers, Gene People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word 'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's stupid bounce rules.
