A lot of the functionality of OpenOffice.org I use via the context menu. That is, if you right-click on the object of interest, you will get options to alter/change/delete that object. So if you right-click on the the reference area of a column (or row), you can delete that whole column. The reference area is basically the number or letter associated with the row or column. (If you clicked anywhere within the column, you are actually on a cell and the context menu is different.) > Could I also change the language settings from US-English to > Australian-English ? There is an Australian dictionary that you could use. Install it and then set the language options under Tools -> Options.
