thanks for your quick response. I tried the help, read
Setting a Predefined Border Style
1.Select the object for which you want to define a border.
2.Click the Borders icon on the OLE-Object toolbar or Frame toolbar to
open
the Borders window.

I entered the chart OLE object and checked all icons. I could not find a
border icon. How does it look like? Also the menus did not contain a "border
something" entry.
I also tried to open the "frame toolbar" using Views->Toolbars, but there was
none...
Any hint is welcome....
