There is no charge of any kind to anyone to use OpenOffice at home or in 
your business.  Download it, burn the cd, and install it on every 
machine in your neighborhood if the owners will let you. :-)

However, since you are talking about a commercial usage, please be aware 
that the support for OpenOffice is strictly done by volunteers, the 
members of this mailing list, and who may not know the answer to a 
question in what would be a timely manner for business use.

If you'd feel more comfortable paying for it, and getting paid support, 
then I'd suggest that you check out StarOffice, which is the 
commercial, supported version.  It may have more functionality than 
OpenOffice, or less in some cases because what might become a future 
feature in StarOffice is first tested in OpenOffice.  Its available 
from Sun also, at less than a $100 bill the last time I looked.  And I 
didn't note what the next years support contract might have been.  I 
believe the purchase price includes the first years support.  Or was it 
90 days, I don't know for sure.

Whatever you are comfortable with, and does the job for you is what I'd 
use.

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules.  I do use spamassassin too. :-)
