Yes - I rather think it was with only one or two documents. (Actually, I
hadn't realised that you could associate autocorrect with an individual
document - sorry about my ignorance!) But this still leaves one obvious
question in my mind - why did I find the order countermanded on the
second, third... etc. occasions when I opened these files?
A mere detail, though, since there's nothing which would even vaguely
lead me to regret moving to OOo.

Maybe the autocorrect is associated with a document rather than OOo itself.
