On the download page ( http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.1/ ) there is
a link to the SETUP GUIDE,
http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/2.x/en/SETUP_GUIDE.pdf , that 
may help. Note you need to be root to use most RPM utilities.
