I haven't installed open office yet, but this appears to be the best tool for me to accomplish a mail merge with. However, I don't want a "snail" mail merge, but an e-mail merge, if you will. I use pine for e-mail, but, Pine doesn't seem to support mail merge (although it does have a form letter).
Once I do the mail merge from open office, what's the best tool to e-mail the letters out? I've read a tad about java mail, so my hope is that java mail, or whatever, would read the e-mail address contained in the letter and send the letter accordingly.
