I am guessing you are using some flavour of Windows. In which case, go
to "Start -> Run..." and type in "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.0
\program\quickstart.exe" (not sure if you need quotes or not). If you
get the same error it is reasonable to assume that the system tray
"Quick Starter" component has in some way become corrupted.

Try reinstalling OOo and you should be offered an option to "Repair". If
not, then uninstall and reinstall.
