looks like I still don't know how to post properly.
Howard pointed out to me that it is the wrong way to
just delete details from a thread and start a new one.
Sorry about that. I'll try to do better in future.
This was my previous posting:
A Writer document I am editing starts with page 7.
Using Insert/fields/page number always reverts to 7.
I have downloaded many pages of help text form Open
Office .org, but either they refer to earlier versions or
don't work as described. I have OOo v.2.0
How can I get it to start at 1?
How can I get it to start at a number in the hundreds
as part of previous chapters..?
