Since you are using MS Windows, you have an OOo icon in the system tray
just to the left of you clock. (It may be visible, or not.) It has a picture
of sea gulls in it. Right click it, and close it. Then you should be able to
uninstall OOo if that is what you really want to do.
However, I would suggest taking some time to read how to use OOo before
thinking about uninstalling. http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/
is a good place to start. The Getting Started Manual is one suggestion, and
The Migration Guide is another one.
