The Oasis Open Document Text format (.odt) is only supported from
openoffice 1.1.5. You should save your document as an openoffice 1.x
writer file (.sxw) to be able to open it in 1.1.2.
Of course, you can also update that system to the 1.1.5 o 2.0.1 version.
