If you've started a list, say with your 'Important' style, and added an item - after you type Enter to start a new paragraph (with the same style), you can press Back Space once or more as follows. The first BS removes the bullet, the next BS appears to remove the outermost indent, and so on until you get back to the margin. (Another BS will then remove the new paragraph).
Does that help at all? Ross On Sat, 2006-01-28 at 12:48 -0500, Laurent Duperval wrote: > HI, > > I thought I had this bullet and numbering thing down pat.
