I have downloaded 5 versions of OOo_2.0.1_Win32Intel_install.exe from
different locations today, using IE6.0 and Firefox 1.07 on a Windows98SE
machine.

Every time I try to install OO, I get an error telling me the installer is
corrupted or incomplete, and suggesting (but not recommending) that I could
try skipping the check with the /NCRC tag.

I've looked in the forums and seen that others have had this problem.
They've been told to check the MD5sums. I did this. Yes, the MD5sums don't
match.

Even on my broadband connection, I don't want to have try this download
again and again. So I tried running the installer with the /NCRC switch.

This moved the process much further along, but eventually, I was told that
the cabinet file openofficeorg1.cab was corrupted. Even choosing "ignore"
the installation would not complete.

I've successfully downloaded and installed other (but smaller) software
today, so perhaps the problem is not at my end.
