Is it Gerry or Rod? :)
Anyway, I just wanted to make the observation that you provide a
tremendous amount of help to the people who come to this list. I really
appreciate your insight and knowledge.
Keep up the good work!

Impolite to ask you to explain your statements especially when they are
not provable with the version of OOo that I have? Please take a look at
the open dialogue of a new installation. You will see that there is no
Docbook import offering. As I pointed out in earlier messages, if you are
talking about the XSLT filters then you should be cautious in using them
as is.
Huh... Gerry? My installation of 2.0 has Docbook listed in the Open
dialogue. This is the Winders version. Is it not in the Linux versions?
It is in the devel snapshot I installed today. It sure wasn't in the
release I had prior to today.
Mind you, I haven't tried to use it and I have only a vague notion of
what Docbook is or what it's good for, but the filter seems to be there.
Me too. Like I said in another message. I know that DocBook was not the
greatest on export earlier on so I suspect the filters. Oliver's
experience confirms this in my mind and so the suggestion to file an
issue.
Perhaps there is more info on the xml project. And, like you, I do not
have sufficient experience with Docbook to go beyond what is already
suggested. One thing I would do is examine the XSLT filters very
carefully if I needed this feature.
