I believe zoom level is stored per document. You should be able to set it in a template to use the same level with new documents.

If you are opening the same document after reboot, then I don't know what it could be,

My OOo 2 default zoom level appears to be set to 75%.

When I change it to, say, 100%, the new level is retained after closing
and repoening the document, and even after closing and reopening OOo.

However, after rebooting the zoom level is back to 75%.

This raises 2 questions, i.e.

1. Why is the zoom level retained after restarting OOo, but not after
rebooting, and

2. Where can I set a new default zoom level?

Thank you.

Mmmm, I just tried it again, and after a reboot the document does indeed come up with the new zoom level I had saved it with.

I was pretty sure I had seen a different behaviour in the past, but as you say, it would be pretty mysterious if the zoom level was reset after a reboot.

Sorry about any confusion.
