Hi Richard,
What you want is the English language pack. You can download it from here:
http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/2.0/OOo_2.0_native_Win32Intel_langpacks/
Find the file that ends in either en-US.exe, or en-GB.exe -- whichever
you prefer (I don't see a listing for en-CA). And before you ask, I have
absolutely no clue what the rest of the en-US entries are about.
Just download the file and doubleclick to install. Then you can choose
the language for the user interface under Tools -> Options -> Language
Settings -> Languages -> User Interface.

I have just subscribe to Open Office as "richard_dumas" and read the
several replies on this thread.
What I meant to explain was, I have the french OpenOffice installed
on my computer, that is to say that the drop down menus are in
french, the "help" files are in french etc....
What I was trying to do was;
I wanted to install the english version, that is to say, the drop
down menus in english, the help files in english. When I tried to
install the downloaded english version, the installer informed me
that the software was already installed.
My problem is that 1/2 of the household don't understand french drop
down menus and I was trying to have both version installed on my
computer.
Is it possible to have both version installed at the same time?
Last question;
How do you reply to a given tread in the [EMAIL PROTECTED] I
searched the page and I could not find the "reply" button.
