c:\program files\openoffice.org 2.0\share\template\en-us

In that directory, there are four subdirectories:
        internal
        layout
        presnt
        wizard
wizard contains 7 subdirectories:
        agenda
        bitmap
        fax
        letter
        PJH
        report
        styles

Most of those have bunches of OTT files in them. Why can I not see them from
teh Quickstarter??

Thx.

You should also have a path to your My Templates directory as the second
entry in the Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > General > Paths >
Templates line. I suggest that you point this second entry to <where
ever your application home is/openoffice.org2.0/user/template

If you use windows reverse the slashes.
In addition to what GRS suggests, I create my own template directory (in Linux, it's $HOME/OOoTemplates) and add it to the paths as above. This is nice because it's a short path - easy to type, etc. when I'm not in OOo (to backup, etc.), and the name/location is OOo version independent, so I can leave it alone every time I upgrade OOo.
