Hello,
My computer has Windows XP Home
Edition version 2003 Service Pack 2 and easily meets all
requirements needed to support OpenOffice.org 2.0.1.
I have tried every way offered to download
OpenOffice.org 2.0.1., only to have it freeze prior to completion. I
tried all mirror sites (not really knowing what they are), I tried Bit Torrent
Systems. I'm afraid to purchase a
cd since the contents can't be guaranteed.
I have looked at msconfig to see if perhaps
there was a problem there. I am uncertain about the settings found there, but I
enabled
HTTP SSL and disabled Windows Firewall, but the
problem persisted.
I would love to use this OpenOffice.org program.
Can you help?
