This is one of the best conversations I have seen in a long time -
purely
for the humour of it all. I hope Pavel continues to interact and
see how
many more people we get telling him he is an "idiot" and the
"developers"
do not need people like him involved! *lol*

Did I write Pavel is an idiot ?
Did I write developers don't need to get him involved ?
I wrote that making a fuss about OO and NO on this user list is
pointless and developers don't need that. Whatever status has Pavel
in the community.
OK. I take your point, but in all honesty you did not say the user
list, you generalised it to
any 'open lists', which I read as meaning his input into any of the
development was not
important, not wanted, etc etc. (how ever you may read that).
If I were a user and I saw developers starting flame wars on user
lists I would not think very high of them.
Agreed, although as was shown with these messages so far, many of the
users do not
know who the developers are, or where they fit into the project
anyway. I think this is
the biggest cause for misunderstandings and flame wars at the moment.
Whatever logical argument Pavel uses to make his point, they are
pointless nitpicking. Are we comparing apples and oranges here ?
No, we are comparing green apples to red apples. Ok, so what ?
Agreed :)
That is why I have tried to stay out of this thread for so long and
will now let people
know this is my last input into this thread, because as you say, it
is not really of any
use, both sides have their arguments and it is not going to alter
anything.
P.S. I still found it quite amusing :p
