I have OO2 version 2.0.1-2 on Kanotix and Debian Testing partitions. I run KDE and I'm not a noob. The above document works in Debian Testing, but in Kanotix (which is mainly Sid) it crashes. OO almost opens the doc... I see the progress bar as it reads it, and then it just closes. No message, nothing. I've tried from terminal as well. I've looked for log entries but don't can't find any. Only difference is that Debian Etch has Sun Java 1.5.0 and Kanotix has 1.4.2. I doubt it is an java issue. I've posted the problem on the OO forum: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=32483 and folks have said they have used both java versions with no problems. I was on the oo IRC and was directed here. I'm curious as to what would cause a doc to crash in one partition and not in the other. OO2 works fine otherwise... just this document in Kanotix Linux that wipes out.
