The thing that caused MS to leap ahead of MAC was the propriety greed. People resisted MAC's "we have you attitude" and that is exactly what is happening to MS. MS will eventually lose its over whelming domince in the market place. As far as changing a society to think the way the current one does not want too, is to teach the new students from the very beginning the things that the current society will not embrace. Some things will take small subtle steps so as not to be noticed.
