OO doesn't have the option of centering vertically... alas. Maybe someday.
I think Roderick suggested making a Table the size of your page and in the
Table properties you can center vertically.
:) I just hit the enter key a lot.

by opening the Style toolbar, select default and use the create a new
style from selection icon to start. For help in this effort see
