I can find nothing in paragraph styles to center text vertically on a page.

I think that this is the job of a Frame. In Insert -
Frame, on the Type tab, you can specify the vertical position as
"centre" relative to "entire page". Then set the Wrap options for
surrounding text.

Someone else may have suggested this already. I didn't read the detail.

Is that in the guide?

The suggestion to use a frame was made just a few minutes ago by Bob Long, and I agree it's a good solution, probably the best one. I had not thought of it myself.

The reason I advised a tabular, rather than a frame, solution is because the table works as Roxann requires and is simpler to implement than the frame method.

With the frame there are several boxes to be ticked, such as 'Anchor to page', 'Autosize' and possibly others I haven't thought about. Why complicate a simple task?

Ultimately it's a matter of individual choice.

Anyone know if there is a RFE to add center page vertically in the page setup / page style? I'd like to vote for it, or open one if not. I couldn't find one so far in my looking.
