Hi Johnny,

If you have a look in the Styles and Formatting window (F11) you will
probably find that most of the text is of the same style such as
"Default" or "Text Body" styles. Modify the appropriate style to
change the language and all the text should change then.


To add to the process, also check the character styles. Chances are you
can change the one that is used and all will change.

Character Styles? Is that the same as "Format - Character..."? If so, it doesn't work. By the way, I forgot to mention that I use OOo 1.1.5 since 2.0 is way to heavy for my poor PC (bought in 1998). The file I am talking about is a PowerPoint file which I saved as Impress.

Is this possible?
1. Change the name of the .SXI file to .ZIP.
2. Extract to a new folder.
3. Open one of the XML files (the right one...) as text with OOo Writer.
4. Do a Search-Replace from English to Swedish (or whatever to search for and replace with...

If possible, which XML-file do I open, what should I search for and what should I replace it with?
