Hi Bob, What you need to do depends on your operating system. I'm going to go on the probabilities and assume Windows... First, it's not clear whether you already have in hand the font you want to install. If you don't have one, naturally you'll have to get one before you can install it. Shutdown OpenOffice and the Quickstarter if you are running it (it lives in the system tray - righthand corner down by the clock - right-click it, choose Exit) In My Computer go to C:\Windows\Fonts Drag-and-drop your "architect font" file (.ttf) from wherever you have it saved to this folder. Open OpenOffice again, and see if the font appears now.
