Hello Elsie,

[I have sent a copy of this reply direct to your email address as I
assume you aren't on the mailing list.]

Firstly, I second Gene Heskett's comments wholeheartedly.

Now to your problem with the envelopes:

I suspect you aren't doing anything wrong. This is because the software
doesn't work as it should when it comes to envelope printing. You aren't
the only one who has had trouble with this - in fact, everyone does.

To help you we will need to know how your envelope feeds into the
printer and what type of envelope you are using, and/or which brand and
model printer you have may also be useful.

With that information we can probably guide you to set up a page that
will print the envelope correctly. Someone may be able to send you a
document with just the envelope in it to try. I'm happy to try.

Here are the things that we need to know:

- what size or type is the envelope?

- which edge of the envelope feeds into the printer first. I.e. is it
the right-hand edge or the top, bottom, or left-hand edge?

- do you feed the envelope into the printer face up or face down?

- after printing, does it emerge face-up or face down?
