OpenOffice.org (OOo) is free. There are no licenses to buy. You are
allowed to download the program, burn it onto a CD, and install it on your
company computer. The license for OOo comes with it in the download.
This license also states that you can install it on as many computers as
you desire. This means two things. As your company grows, you can add OOo
to any additional computers you get. You can also allow all of your
employees install it on their home computers. I would recommend that you
burn additional CD's for any employees who wish to have their own personal
copy. This too is allowed under the license.
The license used by OOo is at this link:
http://www.openoffice.org/licenses/lgpl_license.html.
