At least OOo has a good Font Selection option (Windows version)
When you deal with the hundreds of fonts I have installed,
it is good to see what the font looks like.
I had to install 10 Helvetica and 9 Times fonts alone
(out of 100 or so individual Times/Helvetica files).
It is nice to see those fonts before you change you text.
Soon I hope to have a Linux computer running so
any advice on fonts/OOo/and Linux is greatful

Well, TBT, I didn't need the fonts for what I was doing although I was
surprised they are not in fact available in the fonts menu. But then I
do have a fair collection of fonts from goldenweb.it so its not a huge
problem for me, and yes I do have the M$ttfonts kit installed.
However it would have been nice if that feature had actually worked...
Are these fonts in fact in that M$ package? And if so, how do I make
them visible to OOo?

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
