I'm running Open Office 2.0 ubuntu4, Since I started using Open Office on my old computer, the one thing which has plagued me most is the unfamiliarity of the fonts and font names.
What I have seems to be a list of things for other languages. I don't have Aral and do have AlArabaya and AlBitar, ae_AlMothnna, etc. Mine shows Century Schoolbook L /in Italics/, I didn't know it would do plain. How can I get other regular fonts that I recognize? Is there a table of equivalent fonts somewhere? I'm writing legal documents, where unusual text is to be avoided, but different font styles are important to delineate different parts of documents. If I can't change what shows in my dropdown box, what would be the best fonts to use for: Header Case Name Plaintiff v. Defendant Tables and Lists Quotations, Quotations within Quotations, etc? XXXXXXXXX Second question: a row of ____ makes a single black line all across the page. a row of **** makes a double black line across my page. I used these as a subject separator, but did not want a line there. Trying to remove it makes it clone the line many times. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?
