There seems to be a trend to writing extremely long subject lines on this list; 
I for one don't like it and would like people to stop that. Please. It wreaks 
havoc with my email system (which I can't change, since it is what the company 
requires me to use) - or rather, it messes up the email display.

It is all very well to summarize the mail in the subject line, but it was never 
meant to hold the collected works of Tolstoy. Apart from being rather 
inconsiderate, I also think it shows a certain lack of aptitude. Example: "I am 
using the newest version: my problem is that I can't print slides on the 
powerpoint as a hand out..it never gives me the option to bring so many slides 
on a page" could be summarized as "Many slides on a page?" or something 
similar, it shouldn't be too hard I'd think.
